Barbell squats vs. machine squats?!


Question: Barbell squats vs!. machine squats!?
just wondering how much tougher a free weight squat is compared to squats on a machine the one with the pads that go over ur shoulders and leave lots of marks on ur shoulders)!. i heard it was pretty similar but i'm wondering how much of a difference there isWww@Answer-Health@Com

There's big difference!. If you're starting, start with machine so you can get your body position correctly!. Form is everything or injury will rape you!.

I use to do Machine all the time and then switched to the free weights with the Barbells because I keep hearing about the difference!. It works out much more body parts because you're actually controlling the weight and balance which is harder!.

It is not similar at all!. Using a barbell is more difficult but better for your body!. The machine makes you body go where it wants you to go instead of allowing for the unique motion of your particular body!. Many people get injuries from using the machines for squats!. Its really best to use some sort of free weight that allows you a free range of motion!. You'll be able to lift less weight but you'll actually be doing more intense work!.

Using the machine will NOT help you learn correct form!. Its just the opposite!. It will screw up your form and cause you problems for a long time and potentially injuries!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Machines r bad!. If u use a machine!.!.!. ur bad!. Don't use machines!.

Machines stablize the weight for you, and barbell's don't!. So its harder to do barbell stuff but its better! Ur gonna have to drop some weight AND LEARN PROPER FORM so u don't pop a kneecap or some stupid crap!. Go to this site

I think you can "lean" on a machine subconsciously, whereas with free weights, you can't do that!. Free weights require you to maintain your balance, which I think is an added benefit!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
