What excersises can I do to increase arm and upper body strength?!
Question:
What excersises can I do to increase arm and upper body strength?
I'd like to be able to punch harder, do more pullups and pushups and etc. What other exerises can I do?
Answers:
Pull-ups, and push-ups are great exercises for the upper body. If you don't have access to a gym or weight training equipment, continue to do these. Push-ups primarily work your chest muscles (pecs) , but the also work your triceps as a secondary muscle. You can vary this excercise by elevating your feet, or changing your hand placement. Pull-ups primarily work your back muscles and your biceps as a secondary muscle. You can also do tricep dips on a bench or between chairs. If your primary goal is to increase your punching power, you'll want to concentrate on chest and tricep excercises. Keep a log of how many reps of each excercise you do and increase the amount every week. You have to be patient and consistant and you'll start to see results.
