Question: Weightlifting Question 10 points please helppp!:)!?
Okay so it's summer basketball lifting time and i am lifting a lot less than i was in the spring!. In the spring, i was benching like an average of like 65 (I know its not that much, but i'm a girl and i'm a sophomore in hs) anyway, now summer has started and we started lifting again and i can only bench like 55!. Is it normal to go down so much or am i just back to where i started!?!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Oh, yeah, very normal to lose strength, if you're away from it for awhile!.

Take your time & build up slowly!.

You lifting by yourself, w/teammates, or is this a coach run thing!?

Yes and no, you are back where you started but because of muscle memory you should improve very quickly!. Your muscles will soon remember what they could do before and catch back up!. Just make sure you're replenishing them by drinking plenty of water and eating plenty of protein after your workout!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yes, it's fine to go down!. Summer is much hotter, the air much thicker!. You'll be back up in now time!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It is normal!.!.!.but it also depends on what you have been eating or if you have changed your workout/strectchesWww@Answer-Health@Com
