Building up Abs?!

Question: Building up Abs!?
Ok!.!.so I started to do crunches this week!.!.and I have been doing them everyday!. I try to do atleast 3 sets or so until I can't do anymore!. The thing that is bugging me is that I will do so many of them that my abs will feel as if they are on fire!.!.but within an hour my abs feel completely normal!.!.and they dont hurt at all!. Why is this!? Usually when I do push-ups my chest and arms ache for about a day and a half!. Also, how long does it take to see results from doing crunches!?

Oh and one other thing!. What are some other ab work outs that I can do!? Thanks!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Your abdominal muscles are a funny thing!. You don't realize it, but you actually work your ab muscles all the time!. Okay, so not enough to actually see that 6 pack poking through, but you are getting a workout!. Keep up with your work outs!. You won't always feel sore!. In fact, I never feel sore anymore!. As far as new work outs go, you have to switch it up or your body will become "immune" to the workouts and they will become less efficient!. The one I love the most is lying flat on your back and raising your legs and arms up at the same time, forming a "V"!. Lower your body down without lying flat on your back!. Touch your arms to your toes when you come up in the "V" position!. Another is grabbing a few weights in either hand and lean from side to side!. You will get an incredible workout for your obliques!. (the love handles) Good Luck! www!.creativedesignunlimited!.comWww@Answer-Health@Com

Eight-Pack Exercise

A cool abdominal move that works the top of your abs and the bottom!.

V Raise/Knee Tuck (upper and lower abs, transverse abdominis)

Lie faceup on the floor for this ab exercise with your knees bent at 90 degrees and your feet raised so your thighs are perpendicular to the floor!. Slowly extend your legs so they're at a 45-degree angle from the floor and simultaneously raise your upper body so your torso is also at 45 degrees!. Extend your arms straight out in front of you!. Holding this position, slowly draw your left knee in to your chest, then extend it back out!. Repeat the motion with your right leg!. Continue to alternate legs!.

WATCH YOUR FORM: Go slowly!. Imagine that each foot is resisting something heavy!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Well if you can find some heavy dumbells, you can hold a dumbell on each hand, sit on a chair with your arms hanging!. Then bend your back down all the way as if you were to put the dumbells on the ground, then lift up again!.

You will probably feel a lot of pain in the morning if you do a lot!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Your abs are meant to be postural, and can withstand bouts of "endurance" activity!. Try using your abs to move resistance, this will make them "hurt"!. Don't go too far overboard with the repetitions!. There is such a thing as too much of a good thing!.

i kno exactly what youre talking about mate!. i have same problem!.

swimming is really good for abs!. try that as it helps build them up and i find it has a better affect than sit-ups nd crunchesWww@Answer-Health@Com

Eating healthy is key to having abs!. consume a little more protein (meat) than usual!. I drink only water!. it helps!. Water is the best drink for you, and it cleans bodily toxins and removes them from your body when you urinate!. Working out helps but getting defined abs is about your body fat percentage!. Eating healthy is the main thing, then work out!. Two strengths when combined, result in that figure your looking for!. When you work out don't do the same routine work out everyday!. alternate between 3 days and do different things each of the three days!. like Monday do crunches, Tuesday sit ups, Wednesday go for a run!. then Thursday go back to crunches!. You can do more than one thing a day certainly but don't do the exact same workout everyday!. Your body gets use to it!. Mix things up!. Some people have a higher pain tolerance than others!. When you do crunches maybe that's not where you feel pain the most!. Maybe you do more in your arms!. The abdominal area is the highest recovering unit in your body!. This is also a reason why you feel more pain in your arms than your stomach!. Eat a healthy breakfast!. Eggs, bacon, milk, orange juice!. that sort of thing!. Just combine eating healthy with work out and you should see results in the first few days!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
