Diet FOODS????!


Question: Diet FOODS!?!?!?!?
I'm on a summer diet and am pretty overweight!. I plan on running/walking on the tredmill everyday for at least an hour!. I have no way of doing strength training!. So, what are some good foods to eat for my diet!. I hate salad and most veggies!. Green tea!? Well, thanks!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Well!.!.!. without veggies, it's a lot harder to diet!.!.!. I'd suggest trying cooked veggies (I'm a big fan of stir-fried veggies, and if you add some meat to it it's basically a full meal)--the trick with stir-fries is to add lots of seasoning!.

As an example, slice up some onions, zucchini, and sweet peppers!.!.!. saute the onions in a bit of oil or some chicken stock until they're soft, then add the zucchini and saute that for a bit, and then toss in the peppers and cook them just a bit to heat them through!. Then squeeze a little lemon juice over the whole thing and sprinkle a dash of red chili flakes overtop!.!.!. stir to make sure everything's combined and serve!. This one's good with just about any type of meat, but I serve it with salmon or grilled chicken most often!.

I'd also stock up on fat-free yogurt, 'cause that's a really good alternative to sugary, fat-filled desserts, and since it has protein it'll fill you up too!.

Good to see you have your exercise schedule down! If you can, doing some simple resistance exercises would help accelerate your weight loss, but if you have some reason that you can't do any strength/resistance training then stick to cardio!.

(Oh, and yeah, drinking tea is good for you, since it'll help hydrate you, and that often helps a little in losing weight 'cause your body will stop storing water!.!.!. just make sure you drink caffiene-free tea before going to bed!)Www@Answer-Health@Com
