Why have i been gaining strength but no muscle mass?!


Question:

Why have i been gaining strength but no muscle mass?

Alright, I'm 15 and I've been going to the weight room for the past 3 weeks, but i've been using 20 pound dumbells and doing pushups and situps for the past 5 months. Over the months I've gained considerable strength but not very much muscle mass (i.e. my biceps and other muscles don't look bigger). My forearms have gotten more veiny and defined but thats about it. Also in the weight room I can lift more than guys who look bigger than me but I REALLY need some muscle mass. Any tips? PLEASE I NEED HELP!!!!!

p.s. I'm 184cm/6 feet and 152 pounds.

You should be happy. Why you wanna gain weight? You will be much more athletic if you have a good strength to weight ratio. There's no reason to put on unnecessary pounds on your body. It's like making a car look really fast but not do anythinh to the engine. Don't worry, if you keep working out mass will increase with time
