How can I get the best results from a 1 hour workout?!

How can I get the best results from a 1 hour workout?

I like to go to the gym during my lunch break, but this only allows for 20-30 min of cardio...and 30 minutes for either weights or something different. Any ideas what will give me the best tonning results in 30 minutes?

As I always explain, "toning" is a popular myth. You either lose weight, and the underlying muscle shows, or you gain weight, and your muscles grow. I would suggest doing 20 minutes of sprinting or HIT and lifting serious weights. No, lifting big weights will not make you bulky--trust me (women always worry about this without realizing the dynamics behind getting massive)--and doing high reps with low weight will not help. That's just stupid. But most people in the gym are stupid.
