Question: Have you ever fasted!?

I fasted for 2 weeks and drank only distilled water and real squeezed lemon juice in the water!. I lost 30 pounds!.
I had mononucleosis and hepatitis and reasoned that I needed to clean my liver and detox my body!. It worked!. I was back to work in 2-1/2 weeks and never had another problem that I'm aware of!.
After the first 3 days, I was not hungry anymore and when I started to get hungry after the 2 weeks, I started eating bananas and gradually introduced food back into my body!. My goal was not to lose weight, but the become healthy!. I gained most of the weight back and felt very good after the whole ordeal was done!.
After your body realizes you are in a fasting state, you won't be hungry!. If you eat a little food during the fast, it is no longer a fast, but a starvation mode and this is not good for the body!.

I do it for a month almost every year, it detoxes the body and can make you lose up 25 lbs in a month, but there is a way to do it properly!. Wake up early in the morning, drink 4 glasses of water on an empty stomach, load up on carbs, and a moderated amount of protein!. Don't eat anything for 12-13 hours (if you start feeling weak eat something like a candy bar)!. At the end of the day drink 4 glasses of water (8 oz) and slowly eat a healthy nutritious meal; possibly with all 4 food groups!. Also, it is far better to eat small meals at the end of the fast and thoroughly chew your food!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
I would not suggest fasting to lose weight!. Very unhealthy approach!. I have fasted for religious purposes though!. The longest time I ever did it was forty days!. This is not a fast from all foods!. I would limit myself to water, vegetable, or tomato juice, 100%!. I would eat either toasted bread or crackers!. Yes I lost weight but how much I do not know!. You need to look at different diet plans with results you can measure in about 3 weeks after your start!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
I fast two meals once per month for religious purposes, but I've never fasted to loose weight!. I wouldn't recommend it longterm because your body will go into starvation mode and whatever weight you loose will only come back on as you begin eating food again!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Fasting is the fastest way to lose weight, and probably the dumbest!. Being in shape takes work!. I think the longest ive gone without eating is a day and i probably lost more water and muscle than fat!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
no and the longest you can go with out food is a week if your lucky!.also the scalle does not show the what you lost remerber your bones are heavy!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
