Question: I am 21 5'3 and weigh 103!. is that to little!?

That sounds underweight, but I also know some people with the tiniest bones for which that it could be normal (I'm talking shoulder only about a foot wide)!. So without pictures no one here can say for sure!. Have you seen a doctor lately!? A doctor could tell you for sure!. And if you've been trying to gain weight but can't, a doctor could run tests to make sure there isn't a bigger problem behind your low weight!. If seeing a doctor is a problem, go to a free clinic, or even ask the pharmacist at the drug store!.

That said, people always tell me I'm too small, but I've maintained the same adult weight for over twenty years now and I KNOW I eat enough, it just doesn't go on!. And no doctor has ever told me to put on weight!.

Reflect on this honestly and if you think you have an eating problem, try and change your attitudes and try and add some healthy weight!. Ask your freinds to encourage you to eat well!. Take an attitude to enjoy eating and most importantly, enjoy eating GOOD food!. Don't start binging on donuts and ice cream just to gain weight - you don't want to let the pendulum swing in the opposite direction! And you don't want to eat unhealthy either!.

Whole foods and fresh foods are best and they often cost less than prepared foods!. That just means don't eat processed foods (cans, jars, pre-prepared)!. And stay away from diet versions - eat the real foods that are richer and taste better! For starters, eat butter instead of margarine, and sugar instead of artificial sweetener, and put more dressing on your salad - let your food taste good, because you can!!. Remember, people say butter, sugar and fat are bad for you, but the reality is, these things are better for you than artificial anything! And we all need some fat in our bodies - plus it helps gives you womanly curves!

Finally if you feel you don't have an eating problem, then all the better for you!. You are lucky because you don't have to fear food, just enjoy it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
