South Beach diet question?!

South Beach diet question?

I've done a lot of research regarding this diet, which I am starting tomorrow, however, I'm confused about something.
In Phase 1 of the diet, is it okay to exercise? I do between 30 minutes to an hour daily, and was wondering if I should start at Phase 2. I can't get a clear answer.
I am female, about 5'4'', I weigh 150 lbs, looking to lose 20 lbs.


Answers:

Continue exercises. Follow the diet plan for the food portion. During the first phase you'll be burning a lot more than you're taking in. Then in next phases you'll start to balance the intake and burn. Also, be aware that during the first phase you may have to go to the bathroom more frequently while the body flushes itself.
