Question: Question of weight gaining!?
I'm eating more and drinking Ensure in hoping to gain some weight, but I'm wondering if i should do a bit of weight lifting too!? I'm thinking i shouldn't because i will burn more calories which is exactly what i should be avoiding!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

OK, actually, you gain or lose weight based on whether or not there is a surplus in calories or a deficit!.
In short, if you eat more than you burn, you go up, eat less than you burn you go down!.
You have to eat extra to gain muscle!.
Balancing what you eat correctly will increase these effects!.
If your calories are from protein sources, and not sugars, or useless carbs you will be doing great!.
Try and get your calories from lean meats, and fibrous sources!. Like Fish, with Brown Rice!.
Yes muscle burns fat, but it sure looks great!. (Up to a point)
Now if you just want to get fat, eat a bunch of junk food, Guaranteed to work!.
Now if you want a "tone" body, with more muscle definition, you MUST WEIGHT TRAIN!.
Food can go either way!.

More calories per day, than most OBESE people, and that is a fact!.

Eating protein is a start but keep working out!. working out is necessary for health even if you do want to gain weight still do cardio 30 min 3 times a week and weight lift 3 times weekly!. but for cardio just walk or eliptical!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
well by lifting weights it will produce more muscle!. so if you want some muscle then try lifting weights!. but do not to any cardio because that will help you to lose weight!.

Trying to put on weight huh!? You need protein and lots of it!. Eat tons of protein and then like 45 minutes later work out hard to the core and all that protein will turn to pretty muscle!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
If your trying to get fat!. Then yes continue what your doing!. If your trying to gain muscle weight up your training and your food intake, you have to feed your muscles!.
