Answers:
120 is good for your age!. dont listen to the other kids your muscles need rest and every other day is perfect!. i say if you really put effort in it your can reach your goal by the end of august you would be really good at football if you reached this goal!. dont lsiten to the other kids just ignore them!. drink protein shake that will help you out it will feed your muscles after you work out!.

good luckWww@Answer-Health@Com

Letting your muscles rest gives them time to grow!. The exception is Hyperplasia (in contrast to hypertrophy) Hyperplasia is a phenomenon that describes your muscles being so overloaded and strained that you're body for whatever reason packs on massive muscular growth in a very short time!.

That doesn't mean you should cut out rest days, especially at 14!. Hyperplasia is an exception, not the norm!. Most of the time, if you don't rest you will over-train which will definetley inhibit your gains!. Anyway, 120 is a healthy weight to be able to bench for your age, but is by no means exceptional!. When I was 14, my bench was 160 and was considered respectable but not awe-inspiring!. At 19, I max out at 245 which is more than your average man can lift, but not something unheard of!.

If your mad because everyone else your age can put up 120, go the extra length to train hard!. On the days you do train PUSH IT TO THE LIMIT!. That means lift as heavy as you can until you fail!. And when you do fail, have your spotter help you by making you work for every inch you can move the bar yourself!. At 14 puberty probably hasn't kicked in all the way yet, and if you get yourself in the habit of training hard, you'll bench like a monster by the time you're my age!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

That's a good amount of weight to be able to bench for a 14 year old!. When I was your age, I had only just begun weight training, so just to lift 95lbs for one rep was impossible for me!.

I found that I was able to reach my 95lb goal about a month after I started lifting and, within a year and a half from that time, I was able to bench 145lbs!. It probably took me maybe two years or so to make 175lbs, but by that time, I'd started on creatine and found that building muscle and strength came a bit easier for me!.

As for resting a day, that is definitely a good strategy!. Muscles don't grow while you're exercising!. They grow while you're resting because they need time to rebuild torn fibers!.

Realistically, a male of 14 years shouldn't be working out too hard because he's still growing!. Exercise is good, but just don't overdo it!. When you hit like 21, your growing days are over, so if you want to really build huge muscles, that's a good time to start!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

woah man, chill; Set your goals on 135, then shoot for increments of 10 to your max (possibly every month)!. Yes, let your muscles rest!.

My HS Lifting plan looked like this:

Mon = Upper body (Bench, Incline Bench, Military Press (w/ Dumbells, Upright Rows, Lat Pulls, etc!.) + Cardio

Tues = Lower Body (Squats, Cleans, etc!.) + Cardio

Wed = Upper Body + Cardio

Thursday = Lower Body + Cardio

Friday = Either Rest, or footwork (Dot Drill, 40 yd, etc!.)Www@Answer-Health@Com

Weather or not how much 120lbs!. is good depends on weight, if you weigh between 100lbs!. and 160lbs!. it's o!.k!. (most people can't bench their own weight, so if you can, your doing good)
Those skinny kids, have them prove it!.
Your supposed to work out every other day, and rest every other day (example, work out Monday, rest Tuesday, work out Wednesday, rest Thursday, understand the pattern!?), Ask any doctor about it!. Work out every day and you can do permanent damage to your body!.
Your goal, personally I think you shouldn't have one!.!.!. I never set a goal and I'm 25 and work out, I stand 5ft 10in, weigh 257lbs!. , can bench 350 max, leg press 2100lbs!. max, squat 450lbs!. max, curl 175lbs!. maxWww@Answer-Health@Com

It really depends on your body type (height/musculature, etc)!.
Do yourself a favor and don't go to a gym or a personal trainer at a gym!.!.!.they usually don't know much of anything they'll just rip you off!.
If you're serious about it, join a weight training class at school!.
Find an exercise physiologist or someone who's actually certified professionally!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Those kids are lying!. And 120 is a lot of weight!. You will reach your goal soon!. Don't worry!. In two months you can do that amount!. With a little more training!. Just don't over do it!. You are using your muscles those skinny kids are using bone!. In a wresting match I'd bet on you!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

If you bench 2-3 times a week I would expect it would take about 3 months of lifting to achieve that!.

Yeah that's good for your age!. When I was 14 I maxed at 120!. When I was 18 I was doing 250!. Depends how hard you work/supplement!.

EDIT: For the retards saying 120-130 is a lot of weight, they are correct: That is a lot of weight for a girl!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
