Does anyone know if a low calorie diet of 1200 works for a guy who is 5'6" & weighs 240lbs? See details below.

I'm jogging and walking about 1 hour a day and I also take multivitamins.

I just started the diet 4 days ago and the exercise about 2 weeks ago. It's not a lifestyle but just a way to lose weight before joining the military...Please help...
