It's good for your health and well being -relaxation, clear mind, helps you focus!.
You can increase your core musles strength, which helps in balance and posture
In wushu, it's a competitive sport -though it's slow, competition tai chi is actually really hard with complicated jumps!. Though it might not seem strenuous, it actually is and to do well, you have to have have stamina, strength and endurance!.
Anyone of any age can do it and you can practice it anywhere so it's quite versatile!.

Overall health!. Its actually considered a martial art!. When you do the moves over and over in slow mo they imprint themselves in your muscle memory and if you ever get into trouble and need some self defense your body actually KNOWS how to react to attack!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
