Is swimming a good exercise???!


Question: Is swimming a good exercise!?!?!?
Or is it in no comparison to running on the tredmill for an hour!. Because, I can't run anymore!. For one thing, I hate to run, and well it's just so boring!

I'm not talking actual swimming!.!.!.just moving around, playing games, doing flips underwater, etc!. I do feel tired and sore the next day, so it must be doing something!?

What are some good foods to eat!? I hate salads and most veggies!. Chicken and Fish is what my doctor told me to eat!.

Swimming is a great exercise - you use muscles you don't work out with running alone!. Playing and stuff is fine - the trick is to try to keep your heart rate up over a period of time!. If you are tired and sore the next day then you are getting a good workout!

You still need to so some weight-bearing exercise to strengthen your bones and build more muscle - so maybe you could run or walk once or twice a week!?

I'm not a massive salad fan either!. People try to tell you they are delicioius!. Yeah, whatever! I'd just try to keep your calories down!. So maybe a piece of grilled chicken (you can use spices), a potato baked in the oven with a bit of salt and pepper (no fat), fresh corn (cooked, no buter), some beans or whatever vegie you can stomach!. Or if you prefer chicken and a fruit salad!.

I'd say you could lose 4lbs a week if you're starting at 250lbs!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

it's agreat sport!.!.one of the best for your body actually
doing it on a team and compeeting is the best
there is little resistance one the body like in running and such, and it works your entire body doing cardio and strength at the same time
plus it's fun!

Swimming is good!.!.!.and I recommend it! However, if your aim is weightloss it's not the best option!. It tones your body and builds your shoulders up but - I'd hate to sa it!.!.!.running is better for weightloss!.!.

I agree!.!.!.that running on a treadmill is boring as! How about you try running outdoors! It is far more interesting and fun! Not to mention!.!.!.much for effective than being on a treadmill!.

Combine your swimming and running! EG- run outdoors on Monday, Swim Wednesday and Run again on Friday! Start to add some hills when you feel comfortable!.!.!.you will see results much faster by running outdoors!.

Have some lean protein, (Red meat, tuna) Small amount of carbs such as potatos and pasta in your diet!. And you NEED to eat veges and fruit!. Drink skim milk instead of full cream!.!.cut down on cheese, fizzy drinks and junkfood!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

swimming is a WONDERFUL form of cardio exercise!
i understand though that you must be moving at all times in vigorous motion to do any effect!.
