Hard to say with pushups as I don't know your capacity!. Try this 3 times a week with stretching exercises for effected parts on the off days!.
1!. pushups: try 3 sets of 20, reduce rest time between sets when this gets easier!. When you are doing 3 quick sets of 20 with ease add another 5 reps per set!. Continue like this until you reach 3 sets of 40 for 3 sets!.
2!. pullups: use a similar approach except you probably willnot be able to do as many reps!. Work towards 3 sets of 20!.
