Does going to the bathroom mean losing weight?!


Question: Does going to the bathroom mean losing weight!?
Here's the deal: I used to think that the only way your body loses weight is by going to the bathroom!. I basically thought that whenever your body burns calories, it makes you go to the bathroom because it uses up the extra food and then expels it; but when your body burns calories it does use up the extra food, but it just kind of disappears doesn't it!?


Basically, if you go to the bathroom a lot, does it mean you're losing weight!? Or does that not matter because whenever the body takes in food it has to expel the wastes anyways!.!.!. I just don't understand like if you burn calories, does the weight just disappear like fuel in a car, or does it get expelled!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Of course after going to the bathroom you will lose some weight, after all urine and stools do weigh something, but this is only temporary, your body will keep making urine and stools!. Your body converts the food you eat into energy and heat through many biochemical reactions!. What it can't use is excreted as feces or urine!. The energy is used when you walk,talk, when your heart beats, when you exercise (that's why people lose weight by exercising) and for all other voluntary and involuntary actions of your body!. Your analogy to a car burning fuel is pretty good!. The car uses combustion to extract energy while the body uses complex chemical reactions!.The car's engine extracts the energy out of the fuel and gets rid of what it can't use through the exhaust (equivalent of our going to the bathroom)!.So the food doesn't actually just disappear it simply changes form into energy and waste products!. We measure our food intake by counting calories!. Calories are are actually a measure of the energy the food posses!. To go any deeper into this would require a good amount of knowledge about biochemistry, but that would be quite boring!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

you are talking about digestion and the conversion of food to energy!.!.!.

When the body breaks down food, it takes all the useful things like fats, CHOs, proteins!.!.!.!.!. etc and stores them (or converts it to energy if needed) Minerals and vitamins help the body function and also assist in using energy

When the energy is used, it creates movement/heat/sound etc!.!.!.!.!. and thats what happens to food!.!.!.!.!. in laymans terms!.!.!.!.

If yo go to the toilet alot (plus help from laxitives) , you will lose weight, but save the effort!.!.!.!.!. if you want the effect dont eat!.!.!.!.!.!.!.

Doing that will make you lose weight!.!.!.!. but at the cost of your health!.!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

you are only losing water weight, what you put into your body!. you are not burning fat!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
