Question: I am 14 years old 160 pounds and 5 feet!.!.!.how do i lose weight plezz help!?
im always called FAT GIRL!! my parents always critisize me everywhere i go i cant find anything my size plzze tell me wat to do and dont include pills!! i want to lose 60 pounds in 3 months help!.!.!.i wanna go on a stravation diet but i have to get because i have kidney stones!.!.!.what shud i do!?!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Calm down, honey! I know exactly how you feel -- at your age I was 5'1" and weighed like 156!. I was always the fat girl!. I even quit ballet, which I loved, because of that!. Now, at 18, I'm 5'3" and a healthy 125lbs!. So!.!.!.

You have to take it slowly!.!.!. You can't lose 60lbs in 3 months, but you can lose up to 25 and still be healthy, and it's really going to show after the first five or so, and everyone's gonna be saying how much thinner you are!.

First thing I did was stop drinking soda and eating junk!. This is kind of hard, but you just have to find stuff that still tastes good and swap!. I like fat-free milk, sugar-free iced tea and fruit and yogurt!. Switch from sugary cereal to Cheerios, which are surprisingly tasty and healthy (Honey-Nut kind)!. Eating salads is really good, and there's some new spray-on dressings by Wishbone that taste really good and have almost no calories, so you could try that!. You can stick to eating healthy if you eat tasty!.

Second, I started to excercise a lot!. I joined a gym and the classes were actually fun!. So, find excercise you like!. I liked doing free weights, Pilates and Spinning, and it was great because even though I was really sore sometimes, I started to lose weight and tone up really fast!. Just get active, as much as you can -- even walking is good!.

Third, because of the excercise, I started to drink a lot of water all the time!. This helps because it cleans your body and you don't feel as hungry (so you eat less)!. If you have kidney problems, drinking water is the single most important thing -- I get a lot of urinary infections when I don't!.

The usual answer is exercise and diet!. But the actual answer to losing weight is self-discipline and commitment!. If you dont have these last two requirements, then, nothing in this world can help you!. Dont get into drastic and aggressive measures, like starvation, without any professional help!. It can really affect your health in a bad way!. But I will suggest that you get into membership with a reputable gym which offers personal trainers and nutritionists!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Don't stave yourself that just makes you put on more weight since your matabalism is slown down because of that!. Just start running and do exercises!. I know it will suck at first but you will get use to it and it will pay off!. Just lay off the junk food and eat more healthier!. Or have that day of the week you get one treat that isnt the most healthy!. It will keep your weight in balance!. oh my goodness don't go down that road!. i can tell you from experience you're only hurting yourself and the people you love!. what i would do is if you're so concerned you could become vegetarian or vegan!. if you don't want to do that then eat the major food groups and NO junk!!! only indulge in ice cream like once a week at most!. do at least 30-45 minutes of cardio every single day (like running or power walking) and throw in some strength every other day!. you're probably not done growing yet so don't freak!. and hey maybe all that supposed "fat" will go up to your boobs :) i'm sure you look athletic so don't take those comments personally!. i recommend that you read seventeen magazine's health section!. it's really good and the workouts aren't too much!. also, go to the website and sign the body peace treaty!.!.!.!.it saved me from being diagnosed as an anorexic!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Make sure you drink at least eight to ten glasses of water a day!.
Avoid salt, because it can make you bloated!.
Eat veggies everyday, and avoid too much butter or toppings for them!.
Fruit is good, but watch out for eating too many because theres carbs+sugar in them!.
Oil is good only in small amounts though, i think thjeres something like 100 cals per teaspoon or something!.
Avoid too much bread because it causes you to feel full for a short period, but then makes you hungry again!.

and obviously exercise for about an hour a day!.
theres no way you can lose sixty pounds in three months!.!.!.well maybe there is but i havent found that solution!.

In three months you can safely lose 30!.

first of all, starving yourself is the stupidist thing you could ever do!. it actually makes you FATTER when you don't eat!. like, if you didn't eat breakfast, and only ate lunch & dinner, you'd gain weight!. how!? i dont remember, google it!
also, don't let other people get you down!. that shows you have very low self esteem which won't help your weight any!.
-cut out all candy, soda, and fast food!.
-drink ONLY water
-do 30 minutes-1hour of cardio everyday! (running, walking, jogging, dancing, swimming, biking)
-do some crunches
-walk the dog!.

you might not lose 60lbs in just 3 months, but you certainly can change your lifestyle, which will help you lose some weight!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

The truth is that if you loose 60 lbs in 3 mos!. , that would make you end up in the hospital!. Did you know that in average losing 5lbs means losing one pant size!? So don't put such a big burden in yourself!. Make smaller goals like loosing 2 lbs a week!. You'll go back to school using 4 sizes less than when you got out! Another thing you have to take in consideration is that bone and muscle could also be heavy!.!.!. What ever you do, love yourself more than anything!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

hey i totally know what your going through!.!.!. i was called fat for a long time!.!.!. then i had to get 4 wisdom teeth pulled!.!.!. and being 15 at the time sucked!.!.!.!.but i couldn't chew anything for 7 to 10 days so i only had pudding applesauce!. and water!.!.!. on and mashed potatoes!.!.!. i lost 5 pounds the first 4days!.!.!.!. i went from 145 to 132!.!.!.!. just in those 10daysWww@Answer-Health@Com

starving is dangerous, and once you eat again, your body will store the food u eat as fat, so just eat normally, dont overdo it, and to lose weight you should drink alot of water and walk or runWww@Answer-Health@Com

well, my cousin was always the chubby one in my family and recently i was talking to her, and she lost 20lbs!. i was so proud of her! i asked her what she did and she said she just made the portions of her meals smaller, drinked water, and walked (she said walking gave her the pain in her side like when most people run, so she chose to walk because it still hurt), i dont know how often she did it but im sure it'll help you! i am a vegetarian and thats basically my life diet, i was talking to my mom who is a nurse about obesity which is spiking up there, and ways that people should lose weight!. she said that if they would just go on a steady diet the weight would almost melt off, along with exercise!. but make it fun girl! cut out chips, and sweets!. no soda! i have had like all my friends cut soda out of their diets and they found they enjoy it better, and dont need it!. try going vegetarian, im not trying to pressure you into it or even tell you that meat is wrong (those are personal beliefs and im not sharing mine) but it offers you a healthy way of living and meat carries chemicals that are bad for you and such!. but i must warn most newly veggies do get headaches and complain a lot, so get lots of protien if you choose to go vegetarian!. also, work out some, im not saying drop and give me 20, do what works for you, like i said my cousin just walked! you could get a couple laps around the neighborhood everyday!. i walked a couple blocks every morning and its not that bad! but since its summer here, its sweattttting hot! everyone is different so i which there was something i could hand to you and help you but this is what i can offer, i have never been in your situation but what i can say is starvation isnt the best! you risk more than you think! and i really hope you achieve your goal! remember just to cut out whats bad for you, and junky heavy greasy stuff, fast food, and sodas! try water and exercises outside!. dont over do it though! you will be fine, and if you're dedicated you wont have a problem with losing some weight! good luck and i hope i helped!Www@Answer-Health@Com
