Question: Losing inches but not pounds!. Need to lose actual pounds to make weight!. Help!?
I started working out on the 12th of last month!. I didn't want to get depressed looking at numbers, so I decided I would weigh and measure myself on the 12th of each month!. Today's the day- I lost 9 inches, but lost less than 1 pound!.

While I feel good about the inches, it is still disappointing to see that I have lost !.75 of a pound-basically nothing!. I have been eating healthier as well, and really expected to see some pounds dropped- not 10 or anything, but maybe 4!.

I realize that I have probably lost fat and gained muscle!. But am I going to get to a point to where I lose actual pounds!? I need to lose 10 lbs within the next few months, as I have to pass a physical!.

I just don't know what to do next!. I am going to continue my workout routine, and tough it up a bit!. And continue to eat better!. Will I see results!? I am slightly discouraged and need some encouragement that I will continue to lose inches and also lose pounds!.

Keep doing what you are doing, it is obviously working for you!. You START by losing inches, then lose weight!. This is the ideal way to lose weight, because you KNOW you are losing fat, and not muscle!.

Quckest way to lose pounds is to cut the carbs and replace with protein!. Now you can not cut out all, for a female you need at least 100g of carbs per day, that is 400 calories of your diet should consist of this!. Eat a little more chicken and fish and less bread and pasta!. This is a program (more presice) that bodybuilders use to get to 2-4% Bodyfat!. Bump up your caloric expenditiure with your cardio!.

Simply walking an hour a day should make you lose 4 pounds a month, if you're eating healthy!.

However!.!.!. to pass a physical you can be over the max weight as long as your body fat is low!. I know guys in the Navy that are 10-15 lbs over the max weight but only have 4-7% body fat (all muscle) and they're fine!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

By reading your comment it sounds like you are doing pretty darn good!. Since you have a physical which come with a weigh requirement then I would consult my doctor!.

From my own personal experience, my doctor was able to prescribe medication to me for the purpose of losing pounds!. Maybe yours can do the same for you!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Muscle weighs more than fat!.!.!.so scales and weights aren't the most reliable source!

I have met many women who have put on weight but notice they're pants have become lose!. Some women even put on pounds but notice they are losing inches like you! What you are doing is good and you are on the right track! Do not be discouraged! Congrats!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Congratulations!.

Now you need to increase the exercises and decrease the cal but you may want to change the ratio of intakes, also!. Make your beakfast the bigest meal, lunch the midium size and dinner or supper the smallest size and 3 hours before going to bed!.

Drink a 1 1/2 gallon of water per day and drink some water before eating any thing!.

Please read my articles between the line and do as you please!. But if need be join a gym and get a trainer if you have to qualify for a job or get on some team!.

This comes to1560 calories per day!. The actual range is between 65 and 100 calories per hour!. This is consistent with heart rate of 60 to 80 bits per minute!.

Simply put any person eating only say 1500 calories a day will not put on any additional weight!. At this level of calories consumption the person should loose some weight over long haul, depending on the individual rate of metabolism!.

Proteins: 50 percent of 1500 calories per day = 750 calories!.

4!.Need to increase muscles bulk, but still reduce weight!.

Proteins: 75 percent of 1500 calories per day = 1125 calories!.

In western culture!. Standard healthy practice for long time was three warm square meals per day!. No eating in between, but children were allowed night cap!.

All that has changed, present thinking is 5 to 6 times per day!. Any way what practice one follows is up to them; to each his own!.

Another best practice will be a glass of water before bed time, nothing to eat for two hours before bed time!.

How do I know the calorie count for various drinks and food!?

If you are buying packaged items it is on the package!.

Go on the internet and find the calorie information!.

Lots of cook book now a days list calorie per serving!.
Use your best guess, in this method use higher figure then you have guessed!.
