Would this weight loss technique work?!


Question: Would this weight loss technique work!?
I'm thinking about not eating until I reach my goal weight, which is 20 pounds away and only drinking green tea throughout the day!.
Then, when I reach my goal weight, I will slowly start eating again and find out what the caloric intake is for maintenance!. Do you think it would work!?

I'm doing this because I can't seem to lose weight at 1200 calories a day+ 3 miles of walking!. For the last week and a half, I've been eating only protein except for about 30 grams of carbs or less!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Not eating is the worst way to lose weight! Also, eating only protein is not good for you!. Stay on a low-protein, low-calorie diet, and keep up your daily exercise routine!. Remember that if you consume a lot of calories, even if you burn off a lot, doesn't necessarily mean you burned off more/as much as you ate!. Plus, muscle weighs more than fat, so another reason you might not be losing weight isn't because your work outs aren't working, but because you are gaining muscle!.

just walking isnt going to help you lose weight unless you are obese!.
You have to have a higher intensity cardiovascular, and resistance training!. Atleast 3-4 times per week, doing a full body resistance and atleast 20-30mins of cardio!.
With that said, Green tea is good to drink while on a diet because it helps to boost metabolism!.
The way your thinking is going to BACKFIRE majorly!. Your metabolism is going to basically stop, your body will go into starvation, when you do start eating you will gain back the weight EXTREMLY quickly as your body is going to hold on to everything!. Wouldnt recommend that!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Not eating = slowed down metabolism
This means that once you start eating again you will gain weight even faster!
My advice - eat 5-6 really small meals a day to keep your metabolism going - and these meals should be lean protein and good carbs that are high in fiber (like vegetables, and whole grains)!.
Along with walking, do some weight training!. You won't bulk up = just tone up which will also make your body burn calories better (increased metabolism)!.
Just don't stop eating!.!.!.!.you will do more harm than good in the long run!.

Here is a good healthy thing to eat:
a 1/4 cup non-fat cottage cheese
with sliced strawberries (berries are low carb)
and a couple of spoonfuls of sunflower seeds
- this way you get protein, calcium, vitamin C and healthy oils for your hair and skin - for very little calories!.

yes it would for a very short amount of time and you will gain it right back!. Your body has a defense mechanism in which it will go into a starvation mode and slow your metabolism down next to nothing!. Unfortunately this will harm the rest of your body because the vital organs will receive nourishment and the rest of your body will consume muscle and this will even slow the metabolism more because of the less muscle!.

Well, whenever you stop eating you actually bloat!. Which does in fact make you bigger for a certain period of time!. after a couple of weeks you will eventually start getting smaller but it does take time!. So DON'T DO IT! It doesn't work that great!.

No, I would not do that!. Your body requires protein!. If you do not give it, your body will burn muscle tissue to get it!. I saw a wonderful diet for someone in your position!. There were 5 times to eat in a day, but most of the meals consisted of fish/white skinless chicken single servings and a cup of brown rice!. You will have protein to burn, good carbs to help, and you will not be hungry!. If you need more motivation, check out the magazines of "Shape" and "Fitness"!. its easy to get fat, its hard to lose it!. walking wont do much!. RUUUN, break a sweat!. starving urself is bad!. you WILL gain it all back PLUS more!. eat healthy foods, natural foods, not processed foods (like pizza, cookies, bread,) dont think "oh i ate one slice of pizza today thats 1,000 calories okay im not eating the rest of the day!." thats bad and that technique WONT work!. if u want to lose weight u will have to sacrifice the junk food!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

a week is enough for our body to get adapted to a certain diet plan!.my friend is eating 100 calories in a day alongwith 1hour workout and she is is losing 2kg in 1 week!.by following dis plan u won't gain weight again and it also makes ur body shining!.do remember wen u reach ur goal just eat in little amounts!.ur method is totally wrong by that u wud definitely fall ill and gain weight or will hav some diseaseWww@Answer-Health@Com

Depends on your BMI!. If you are overweight, you can lose 20lbs easily!. If not, it means death!. After extreme diet, most people experience rebound, so I won't recommend you!.!.!.you need professional advice on food, you'd better change your metabolism!.
