Is working out your chest and back on the same day bad?!

Question: Is working out your chest and back on the same day bad!?
I have just recently started lifting weights again now that my wrist is healed, and as I was looking up workout routines, I noticed that none of them say to workout your chest and back or biceps and tricpes on the same day!. I had always done that before, becasue that was what the rotuine I was using called for, and it made sense to me, workout the opposite muscle groups to keep everything balanced, but now Im not so sure!. Does anyone know if it is bad to workout those muscles on the same day!? Or does it really not matter!? Any help would be appreciated!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Many people will give you a hundred different answers on this!. Every trainer has an opinion!.

That being said, it is common to work out the following muscle groups together, and these combinations definitely won't hurt you:

- back and biceps
(pull ups and pull downs work the biceps heavily anyways)

- triceps and chest
(chest exercises like the bench press work triceps heavily also)

- legs
(a big muscle group, okay to work out on its own)

One reason people don't suggest biceps and triceps (or something similar) on the same day, is because your blood flow will concentrate only in that portion of your body as you system struggles to keep your muscles supplied with sugars and oxygen!. Never seen any hard evidence that this is good or bad, just lots of "professional" opinions!.

Last point: You know your body better then anyone else, so don't do something if it doesn't feel right!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

As long as you are using strict form, you're good to go!.

People say not to work chest/tricep on the same day because the bench slightly uses part of the tricep muscle!.

If you have a good form, you'll minimally use your tricep muscles!.

Then again, you're there to work out and you'll be using all your muscles in one way or the other whether its their day or not!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

it doesnt really matter but they recomend atleast two muscles in a day!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
