Feeling Chubby...?!


Question: Feeling Chubby!.!.!.!?
Im almost 15: Height 180cm and Weight 51kg and it looks like i am getting a little porkish around the edges!.
My mum tells me my bum looks big and that im getting chubby and it really starting to bring me down!.
Am i too porkish for my age!? and should i lose some weight!? what do you suggest!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

You are underweight according to BMI calculations, in fact significantly underweight!. Do not listen to your mother - she obviously has her own problems that she vents onto you!. You need to have self awareness and confidence and look past what she says and look at the facts which are BMI calculations!. Just eat healthily and normally, three times a day and then you shouldnt have to worry about putting on weight, or losing weight!. Eat when you feel hungry and eat nutritious things!. Be a confident person and an independant girl and try not to get swept up in how other people percieve you!. Your own mother should never tell you such a thing, that is cruel!. Okay, you know yourself and you know your body so if you ARE putting on a bit of weight then you've noticed it and can do something about it before it gets too much!. Medically speaking it's better to be slightly overweight than underweight so don't worry about it unless you really don't like it!. Just cut down a little on what you eat and exercise a bit more!. You don't need to crash diet or go to the gym like a fanatic!. At your age your body is still growing so just keep an eye on things but please don't worry about it too much!. The most important thing is not to listen to anyone else but yourself!. If you are happy then be happy!. Dont let what other people look like or tell you make you feel any less of a person!. Everyone has self image issues!.

Nothing wrong with doing some exercising!. Go for walks with a friend every day to help burn some calories!.

Get an aerobics dvd and do them together with a few friends!.

You most likely only need moderate exercise!. You'll feel and look better!.
