No, they don't give you energy as such!.
I assume you're on cortico-steroids like prednisone, etc, which are anti-inflammatory drugs (no they're not the same as anabolic steroids - they won't make you get big muscles)!. It's likely you feel more energetic because you're simply not in as much pain and discomfort from the inflammation!.
They can have other side effects though, which are not good!. High doses can lead to temporary diabetes (which should go away when you stop them)!. They also lead to increased appetite and increased fluid retention, and therefore weight gain!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
