Answers:
It's lactic acid build up and also the tearing of muscle fibers!. They have to tear and heal themselves in order to get bigger/stronger!.

You cannot avoid it if you want to get increased muscle mass!.

You muscles feel heavy/thick because they are tired!.!.!. you don't feel it right away because your body is rushing water and nutrients to them while you're working out!.!.!. and then when you stop working out!.!.!. the body stops doing this after a little while!.!.!. so then they feel weak from the workout!.

Be sure you're drinking plenty of water during your workout and eating plenty of protein throughout the day!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

the ache your feeling is known as DOMS
( Delayed Onset of Muscle Soreness!.)
It happens after exercise, its the build up of lactic acid in the muscles!.
Ways to prevent this are after a session either have a massage, have a hot shower (i know cold showers feel better but it wont help the ache) or have ice treatment!. Which unless your really brave i wouldnt do because its bloody freezing!
hope thats helped a little :D xWww@Answer-Health@Com

You have cellular damage to the cells that are in your muscle fibers!. Sounds like you are overtraining and need to let you body recover more before performing another workout!. Over training can counterproductive to what you are trying to accomplish!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Drinking coffee can dull the aching!.

Also make sure that your getting at least 1g of protein per lb you weigh (want to weigh)!.

This should help with excess pain, but there will still be some minor aching!. Especially when you start a new routine!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
