I hate myself and im not happy because of my wieght.....?

you guys i need help i want to lose weight but its like everytime i start out excercising and eating less fatty foods before i know it im back to the way i was. im 5'2 17 years old and i weigh about 130 im not happy not one bit. please i need serious help.

She is right about taking to you doctor she will help you figure out exactly what you need to do my doctor really helped me.

remember portioning is the most effective part... but don't starve yourself... look at the food pyramid and following the portioning it gives you (this is cheaper way if you can't afford to go to the doctor or you don't have time) fill in the answers and it will tailor the pyra mid just to you :)

The reason you are gaining the wweight back is once a fat cell is created it never goes away. so you lose the weight and the fat cells shrink and then you stop diet and it's really easy for them to grow again... thats why first it is important to get to the point where you aren't making any more, then to the point where you lose weight and the to maintain it... by slowly going back to eating the stuff you like but always in smaller portions!


what a healthy weight is: Keep in mind that is doesn't take bone structsur or muscle mass into consideration. So if you are very muscular you need to remember that muscle weighs a lot more than fat so you should weigh more. Also if you have a thick bone structure (you can tell by someparing your writes to other people's if you writes are mainly skin & bone like they should be and are bigger than most peoples then you have large bone structure or the oppposite for smaller) you should also weigh more.

According to the BMI (body mass index) you are normal and should be worried about losing weight, but just about maitaining it.

Of course you need to feel good about yourself, eating heathly and excerise will make you feel good about yourself whether you are losing weight or not because it releases endorphins, causes you to sleep better (which will help you age slower and not look tired) and have more energy.

Also remember the more muscle mass that you have... the more calories you burn throughout the day.
Eating disorders... don't go to the extreme.
Anorexia and bulima can cause some pretty gross side effects.... so if you are trying to be skinniy to be "pretty" It best to do it the helthly way that way your hair won't fall out or your teeth won't rot.
