Answers:
I don't drink as much coffee as you, but I do start out my day with a large cup, and from my own experience I think you might start to gain weight!. I notice that when I drink coffee in the morning I can often go without breakfast, my hunger is curbed until much later in the afternoon, and I feel like throughout the day my metabolism has gotten a boost!. This also holds true considering many 'diet' pills have high doses of caffeine as well!.

I don't believe that coffee is 'bad for you', but at the rate you are drinking it, you are certainly addicted!. Therefore, weight gain may be the least of your problems - you will probably have headaches and withdrawal symptoms if you try to cut all coffee out of your diet immediately!.

I'd suggest not giving it up altogether, but simply cutting down to 1 or 2 cups a day!. In addition to the caffeine being quite addicting, it serves as a mild diuretic, causing you to have to use the restroom more frequently and thus dehydrating your body!. It also tends to stain your teeth and can make your heart race!.

Good luck cutting down if that's what you decide to do, and I hope this helped!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

here's the rub!. you say you are addicted!. can you reduce your coffee intake and be fine with it!?
depends on the person or the amount of coffee as to whether coffee is bad!.
if you want to quit or even cut back i suggest you go to site below, sign in and watch the craving buster!. caffeine was my addiction too!. i drank massive amounts of coffee and soda from the time i woke up until bedtime!.i wanted to quit but failed until i watched the craving buster and now can control my caffeine intake!. but i'm going to quit after my Sunday morning coffee because i just think i will feel better if i don't drink any and the Craving Buster works anytime i use it!.
so check it out or don't!. i'm just passing on what works for meWww@Answer-Health@Com

In small amounts coffee is good for you!. They say one cup a day because coffee has good antioxidants!. It's bad for you because of the caffeine!. Caffeine causes you to become dehydrated!. I don't see why you'd gain weight if you stop drinking it unless you replace it with food!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
