Eating every hour with 10 minutes of cardio?

I have a few weeks off of work and I decided to drop a few pounds ... (im not looking to lose 10 pounds or anything crazy like that) I want to take the chance to speed up my metabolism (kinda slow, even tho im 21, eat healthy and run everyday) and so I figured to take the amount of calories I would normally eat and split them up to where im eating a little bit every hour ... and instead of going running at night, I figured I would run for 10 minutes every hour .. will this help me speed up my metabolism and drop a few pounds?
im 5'5, 21, and 130 lbs

eating more often is a good idea, but that running plan I have never heard of. The good way to speed up metabolism is coffein... Not coffee, unless you drink it black with no sweetners, which I doubt, so just do tablets. have a breakfast every morning. And when it comes to running, try this... run at your usual pace, and then every two minutes sprint for 30 seconds, meaning first two min. regular pace, 30sec sprint, 2min your pace, 30sec sprint, and try to do that for as long as you usually run for. That will speed up your metabolism and you'll keep burning long after the work-out.
