every day i do 150!. But I break it up into 5 sets of 30!. I started doing this by doing 30 situps during each commercial break of my favorite1 hour show!. Since there are about 5 commercial breaks, if I did 30 situps during each, 150 situps, easy!. Now I'm at the point where i do situps during EVERY tv show i watch!. it gets to be sooooo easy and now i have rock hard abs at age 13!!!Www@Answer-Health@Com

To answer your question, do situps until muscle failure, in other words, until you can't anymore!. Everyday or every other day!? Depends!. If your abs are still sore wait another day, you'll only be prolonging the repairing process going on inside your body if you slug it out!. What I would recommend is, don't just do situps!. They do work your abs, but it's easy to switch to your hip flexors(a muscle) instead of your abs!. I do an abs circuit, which means I do 6 abs exercises with no rests inbetween, then stretch your abs and it'll help get the blood to them!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You should do as many as you can for the first day, and the next day you do them, add 5 or 10, depending how good you feel!. The best way to do them at first is every other day, since your stomach will be sore for a while, but if you're up to it, every day exercise is a great way to stay fit!
