Muscle fatigue and soreness?!


Question: Muscle fatigue and soreness!?
I have been playing in a basketball tournament all weekend!. I weight lifted on wednesday and did a pretty intense leg routine that I am still sore from, and I'm obviously fatigued from the tournament this weekend!. I have the night to rest then I leave for another tournament tomorrow!. What is the best way to rest my muscles and be prepared for tomorrows tournament!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

After intense leg workouts, your leg muscles are usually very tight!. To relieve your pain stretch your muscles as often as you can!. This usually works or me!. Also, be sure you're eating plenty of protein, so your muscles have something to repair themselves with!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You have to come up with some type of a reward system, this will help keep you motivated!. One of the best things to do is make a contingency contract!. Stating what you want to do, who will help you do it, and what do you get for doing it!.

Then also try to find a well balance diet program!. My friend did this one diet program where the average weight lose is 7 pounds in 9 days!. For me-to loosen my muscles I do a light cardio like a walk or jog and then I stretch out-typically I'm less sore after 20 minutes of movement and then stretching!.

warm baths work for me too-but just stretch out a bit now and then tonight before you go to bed and even in the morning tomorrow-

best thing is to rest and sleep as much as possible and to eat a whole lot of protein!. the protein will allow muscle to build around your bones and ease your pain a little bit!. try a can of tuna preserved in water (not oil) or steak!. try drinking tea or milk also!.!.!.should relax your body!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Your body uses protein to repair damaged muscle, so eat foods high in quality protein like chicken, eggs, and cottage cheese!. Also, REST! When you sleep, your body is busy at work repairing damaged tissue, releasing hormones, etc!. etc!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
