Diet methods to lose fat?

I myself am not fat, but I have some fat that I want to get rid of. Last summer, I was slightly pudgy but this year I started playing sports like fencing and lacrosse. Now, I'm a lot thinner, and more lean. I can also maintain my weight no matter what I eat. But the problem is that even when I try to eat as healthy as possible I can't get rid of this remaining body fat, and it's really annoying. I'm going to join the cross country team next school year, so I think maybe this added sport can help me lose the fat. But my question is what should I eat to be able to finally get rid of it once and for all.


Answers:

Pretty well everything except junk food and drink.(By "drink" I'm afraid it means especially acohol.- Sorry!)

(1) Lean meat (chicken, turkey, pork, rabbit, ham, lean beef and bacon, -keep off the processed stuff -like Spam etc.)

(2)All vegetables and most fruits except starchy ones. So Peas, beans, greens, tomatoes, celery, onions, mushrooms, lettuce, radish , spinach, celeriac are GOOD. Potatoes (and of course, crap derivatives like chips) are BAD. Carrots, sweet potatoes sort of "acceptable" in small portions.

(3)All nuts, OK, Most pasta , cookies, and sugary stuff BAD, - the exception is whole-grain pasta. Same with bread. Whole-grain good, white processed bread, burger buns, etc, BAD. If in doubt ask yourself "would a stone age cave-man have access to this?" If the answer's yes, then it's OK.

(4)All sea-food in huge quantities, fish, shrimp, prawns, oysters, lobsters, crayfish, squid, salmon, trout, cod, haddock, you name it, -you can fill up to bursting on it.

(5)Lastly, all the newer veggie foods made from man-made proteins are usually terrific. Some of them are in fact much more palatable than they sound ("Quorn" for instance...It sounds like YUK, but you may well be pleasantly surprised!)

If you want to "crash it", then choose a day, any weekend, and spend it simply on a long, steady, continuous physical interesting exercise. don't know where you live, but for instance, take high-protein rations and climb Mt Washington, hike 5 miles to the Lake In The Clouds hut, and spend the night, and hike back down the next day. Every scrap of fat your body has to spare will be used up and converted to energy.

If all else fails, then liposuction will get a stone off you in the right places, in two sessions, -and it will have been permanently removed. -Drastic at your age, -try to do it with the food.
