Question: How many hours of exercise do golden retriever need in one day!?

Well you didnt say how old your pup is!?
Although Golden and Lab retrievers love excersize!.!.!.!.It isnt good to over doso at a young age, while their bones are growing!.!.!.Especially too much jumping!.!.!.
That said they LOVE to retrieve so the simpliest excersize is throwing a ball in cooler time of day!.They'll stop when tired!.!.!.
As they get older and if you gradually increase!.!.they can handle ALOT of excerise!.!.Walking, riding along your bicycle, even along your horse!.Swimming with you in lakes and streams!.!.(chlorine bad for them)
!.They love to learn, do obedience and learn new tricks!.
I've owned em allllll my life and competed in both obedience and agility with them!.Wonderful pets!!!
However one of the joys of the retirever group is they can also happily become couch potatoes as they simply LOVE just being near you!.
Best advice!.!.A retrienver shoulder never have less than 1 hour of excersie or play a day!.Keeps them sane and happy!!Also change their diet according to excersize as they can before too heavy if overfed and under excersized and are prone to thyroid issues because of it!.
