What are some good abdominal exercises?!

Question: What are some good abdominal exercises!?
Okay, so I've been dieting and I've already lost 7 pounds!. I'm currently 125!.8 and my goal weight is 119-120!. Since I am losing the weight, now what I need are some good abdominal exercises so I can really start focusing on my mid section!. I do 50 abdominal crunches on the Ab Lounge daily as well as 40 oblique crunches on each side, however I am becoming 'conditioned' to that even when I up the number of reps!. I've always heard that's it's about intensity not quantity so any suggestions anyone has as to how I can work my mid section harder is greatly appreciated!. thanks!Www@Answer-Health@Com

The abdominal area is tough to begin with, just like your calves, they need to be really worked to get the full effect!. What you are doing is a good start, but turn it up a bit!. Do each exercise that you described above, rest for one minute, then do it again, rest one minute and do it again!. This will give you 3 sets of each exercise!.

Another one you can try is to get two encyclopedias and put them together holding them (palms facing in) so they do not slip apart!. Press together and slowly push away from the body, once your arms are extended hold for 10 seconds and bring slowly back close to your body!.

You will immediately feel it!. Do this 10 times at the end of the workout!.

Try to work your abs about 3 times a week!. They are tough and can take it!.

1!. Lie face up on the floor and lace your fingers behind your head!.
2!. Bring the knees in towards the chest and lift the shoulder blades off the ground without pulling on the neck!.
3!. Straight the left leg out to about a 45-degree angle while simultaneously turning the upper body to the right, bringing the left elbow towards the right knee!.
4!. Switch sides, bringing the right elbow towards the left knee!.
5!. Continue alternating sides in a 'pedaling' motion for 12-16 reps!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You could try doing pulses!. This puts CONSTANT work on your abs and is a good way to up it a bit!. You could do like 20 reps and then 20 pulses and then 20 reps then 20 pulses until whenever you want!. Also try different angles!. Like putting your legs up to get the lower abs and also try some pilates!. You could get a video anywhere and it really changes up your ab workout a bit!. Even if you don't feel it!.!.it will be working!. For your obliques you could do pulses and try going faster with your reps!.
