Question: Weight lifting!.!. building mucle!.!?
is it better to lift say a lighter weight, and do more reps and less sets or a heavy weight and no less reps nd same amount of reps!.!. e!.g lift 100kilos, for 30 reps for 3 sets or 140 kilos lift it 10 reps with 3 sets!?!? like wot one wuld make u build muscle fasterWww@Answer-Health@Com


Answers:
1-5 rep range is best for strength gains
6-10 is usually hypertrophy and best for muscle gain
10+ is for muscular endurance

Change up the rep and sets from 3x10, 10x3, 5x5, etc!.

Lifting lighter weights does not tone you either, only losing body fat can do that!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Well if you lifts lighter weights and more reps, this usually results in toning yourself, this is good for sports like track and cross country!. If you want to gain mass, then you must lift heavy weights with low reps!.

to build muscle you need to lift heavy weight!.3 to 4 sets of 8 to 10 every other day!.your muscles need fuel so be sure to eat lots of protein!.try drinking a protein shake about an hour before you workout and right after you workout!.if you no longer get sore the following day switch your routine up!.

Every1 say to lift lighter weights and more reps but if you want to build muscle you have to allow your muscles to get use to lifting heavier weights!. Gradually move to heavier weights until you are satisfied with the results!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
