How can i stop myself from eating junk food?!


Question: How can i stop myself from eating junk food!?
Okay, so my family keeps ALOT of junk foods at home!.!.!.like ice cream sandwiches, popsicles, chips, cookies etc!.!.!.

I skip breakfast and for lunch i eat a small sandwhich or pastry!. Dinner i don't eat much either since i'm trying to lose weight!. After school i do fast-pace walking alot to burn off some calories!.

When i get home i usually feel like eating and snacking on something!. But that just gives me back the calories i was trying to burn off!. How can i stop myself from unecessary snacking!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

for an after school snake make a Pb&j sanwich!. ask ur mom or who ever does the shopping to pick up an apple or celery!. if they ask why and ur too embarassed to say im on a diet, just say cause its hella good!. havnt u ever ate an apple!. or go with who ever shoping and pick stuff out!. and ice cream and goodie just SCREAM ur name i know!. but u have to just be like shut up i hate u haha or something!. oh bye the way!. skipping meals make u gain waight!. your body keeps what u eat as fat calaries if u eat only once or twice a day!. eat SMALL meall every 4 hours and ur body will use the calories as energy right away and u wont have as much fat to burn when u work out!!! :) And when u are eating a main meal (like dinner) STOP EATING when u feel full!. over eating can make u gain wait too, and when ur hungry have a little snake like i said!. never starv ur self!. watch that show "i can make you thin" find it on you tube or something!. it acually works trust me, ive tryed it!. and to loose waight u need to work out at Least 2 hours!. one hour will keep u at the wait u are at!. (learned it in PE at school) and klisten to birdgie with the pic thing! shes right and when ur working out keep a pic of the body typ u want And a fat body (on one page) in ur pocket and u start to get tired look at itWww@Answer-Health@Com

EAT MORE!!! You are skipping essential vitamins and nutrients that your body needs!. Please don't skip breakfast!. If your body skips breakfast that equals the beginning of starvation mode!. That tells your body that the rest of the calories that you consume throughout the day have to be stored as fat!. If you eat something like a whole wheat (complex carb) and a fruit (simple carb) your body will know that you are trying to give it energy!.
If you want to loose weight or just maintain, then you have to give your body enough to run on!.
It may make you hungrier earlier for the first week, but if you can tough it out your body will adjust!.
Try to eat things that will give you multiple nutrients!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

try to keep little veggies around the house!.

baby carrots, celery, maybe radish!.
Whenever you get the urge to snack, eat a veggie!.

If you're not comfortable with sudden change in habits, you can still use ranch dressing to make it more appetizing, but over time, try to cut down on that too!.

Eventually you'll be kinda addicted to veggies and it'll become totally easy ignore junk food!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

no matter how much of an urge you get!! as you go near the kitchen think of something else to do and turn around and go back!. just keep doing that or while going ot he kitchen just force yourself to turn around and go outside to your backyard

my life is the saem especially w/summer vac!. so i am gonna gain a lot but i am trying to keep my self busy i am 11 and i weigh 93 i really have to lose weight even thought the doctor says considereing my height (5'1") i am perfectly fine but i still have a tiny stomach but oh well

try some art projects which require time
when you eat make sure that you have a heavy breakfast/lunch/dinner and eat super slow without reading or wathcing tv then soon you wont feel like eatingWww@Answer-Health@Com

First thing you have to do is eat breakfast!. Think of it as your energy starter!. Lunch and dinner are just your "boosts!." TRUST ME, when I skipped breakfast, i ended up gaining weight, and then i finally got control of it when i started to eat breakfast again!. The next thing you have to do is think of what kind of junk food you want!. If the junk food of which you so desire is a sweet one, then replace that with something healthy such as a banana or an apple!. If you want something salty, eat some peanuts!. And if you ALWAYS feel like snacking on something, chew gum!. Sugar free!. 5 gum is pretty good!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

i had the same problem an now look im thin an almost have a 6 pack!. DONT EVER SKIP BREAKFAST it will make you grumpy and want to crave sweets!. eat a regular healthy breakfast like sausage or whatever and put some salad next to it!. then skip lunch its really pointless havin it!. then eat diner but dont get any seconds no matter how hungry you are an that doesnt mean to stuff your plate on the 1st try! and every lunch each day do about 15-20 situps and run one lap in your backyard then drink WATER if you dont have water orangejuice or a little milk will work!.!.now if your gonna eat chips just put 1 handfull an thats it! No sweets if your cravin some type of sweet eat a spoonfull of peanutbutter that will stop them cravingsWww@Answer-Health@Com

just force yourself to eat healthy snacks like tea, almonds, fruits, carrots & other easy to eat veggies!.!.!.even a little bit of junk food can contain tons of calories!.!.!.o yeah and dont drink sugary juice because its just a bunch of calories without any fiber or anything like that so stick to sugarless tea and water (you can put fruit in the water like raspberries to make it taste good), eventually you'll get used to healthy snacks- i certaintly did and now i like them much more than those sugary junk-food snacks =]Www@Answer-Health@Com

I feel your pain, I have the same problem!. First off, advocate to your family that you're trying to eat healthy and that having snacks all over the place is far from helping!. If that doesn't work, just spend as much time out of the house as possible, therefore no temptation :)Www@Answer-Health@Com

they have some dietary pills that actually make you less hungry, my friend takes them and they really do work! also try to just not by junkfood and by healthy snacks like carrots and low fat ranch dressing or celery (which actually takes carbs to eat) and peanut butterWww@Answer-Health@Com

PUT AN OVER WEIGHT WOMAN PHOTO EVERYWHERE
IN A FRIDGE
IN A BATHROOM
IN YOUR ROOM

AND YOUR MIND WILL BE WARNING AND HUNGER FOR THAT JUNK FOOD WILL GO EVENTUALLY, BELIEVE ME

AND OF COURSE REPLACE IT FOR HEALTHY FOOD, LIKE PERUVIAN FOOD, SEE PERUVIANS GIRLS!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

um i got somthing to say to you EAT! your body is not getting the nutrions that it is needing when you are eating small protions of things and then you are craving sweets because your body isn't used to having low blood sugarWww@Answer-Health@Com

Just try and eat more fruits and veggies for lunch and dinner and eat breakfast because then you won't be hungry and try not to snack and if you have to have an apple or banana or somethingWww@Answer-Health@Com

yur probably better off NOT skipping meals, just eating less in each!. its REALY unhealthy to skip meals, especialy breakfast!.

Just don't put it in your mouth, duh!. It's YOUR decision to put that piece of chocolate-coated icecream cake in your mouth, it doesn't jump in there itself!.

after each meal bruch your teeth that tell you body that your done eating and if you do it it taste nasty and youll stop eating but if that dont work keep gum on you and chew that the the leat fating oneWww@Answer-Health@Com

You won't lose weight by not eating BKF and eating small meal for lunch ( or only sugar) that why you are hungry when you get home!.
Try eating a healthy BKF- protein, carbohydrate (not a dirty word)!. Yogurt + OJ + or bagel, Bacon + toast (minimal butter or jam, < 1 tablespoon) + fruit + milk!. Something along those lines keep food simple and free or w/ minimal butter & jam!. Hot or cold cereal + milk + fruit and some type low fat protein!. Turkey sasauge or bacon!.
Lunch- sandwich, good- pastry, bad (too much simple sugar) you need a more complex sugar- takes longer for the body to motabolize it!. Thus giving you more energy and not as hungry so soon afterward
Try sandwich+ salad+ fruit+ milk (this is not a dirty word) choose low fat whenever possible (example low fat milk or 2% vs whole milk!. Again minimal or no salad dressing!.
If you need a snack when you get home try to limit yourself to 3-4 cookies, or 6-7 chips!. Measure them out and put the rest away!.
Drink plenty of water- replace soda pop w/ water!.
For Diner try to eat smaller potions of what your family is eating but shoot for protein+ vegetable+ carbohydrate!.
Limit snacks to once a day (after school)!. If you need to exercise more take a walk after Diner!. Invite your parents w/ you (good for Mom/ daughter, or Father/ Daughter quality time)!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
