Question: Volleyball workout/loosing weight!?
alright so i'm 15 and i've been playing volleyball (which is pretty much my only sport) for about 5 years!. i'm going to be a sophmore this coming year and i really wanna make the varsity volleyball team (last year i was a swinger!. i played JV and varsity but more JV)!. my coach says i have the potential to be really good!. but my problem is that i'm really not that intense about it!. most of the girls on my team play hardcore all year round!. and i just don't compare!. i need a way to get into fit shape by the time tryouts start (august 11th)!. i'm willing to work as hard as needed!. also, i'm thinking about loosing a couple pounds (i'm 5'5 and weigh 140 pounds !.!.!. i'm aiming for 130-120)!. does anyone know where i can get a good workout plan!? or have any of their own!? please hurry cuz i want to get started ASAP!! thankss :] ?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Run run run!. If you want good abs use these:

PELVIC TILTS
Lie on your back, with your knees bent!. Feet should be planted on the floor with your arms by your side!. Tighten ab muscles, and slowly lift butt off the floor!. Your upper body will form a diagonal line down from your knees!. Hold for a sec!. Slowly lower back to the floor!. Do 15 to 20!.

KNEES AND ELBOWS
Lie on your back, with hands clasped behind your head!. Lift your knees, head and shoulder off the floor!. Crunch up until knees and elbows touch!. Slowly lower yourself, without letting feet and shoulders touch the floor!. Repeat 20 times without stopping!.

BICYCLES
Lie on your back, with hands clasped behind your head and legs extended!. Keep abs tight, and lift legs about an inch off the floor!. Slowly bend your right knee, and twist your left elbow across until the two touch!. Slowly straighten right leg, and return left side of body down to the mat!. Repeat on opposite side!. Do 30 on each side!.

SCISSORS
Lie on your back with hands planted on the floor underneath your butt!. Lift your head and shoulders slightly off the floor, while raising legs straight into the air (your body will be in an L shape)!. Split your legs, with the right leg going closer to the floor and left leg toward your belly!. Exhale and switch legs!. Do 20-40 reps!.

LEG RAISES
Lie on your back with your hands on the floor under your butt!. Leaving head and shoulders on the ground, raise both legs up until your body forms an L shape!. Slowly lower both legs down until feet are an inch above the floor!. Slowly raise them back to the start!. Repeat 20-30 times!.

SINGLE LEG STRETCH
Lie on your back, with your arms and legs straight up in the air!. Tighten abs, then lift your head and shoulders slightly off the floor!. Grasp your right leg with both hands!. Slowly lower your left leg until it almost touches the floor/mat!. Raise leg up!. Repeat the move on the other side!. Do 15 on each side!.



Slow down with the junk food!. Don't go above the serving sizes for meals or snacks!.

If you think you are not in shape then do alot of exercice and since you are good at this sport, practice alot! At the same time you're practising it you are also exercising your body to get in fit as you desire!. Eat healthy, that's really important, to lose weight and also to be strong and to have a good resistance and physic preparation!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

go on runs!.!.your need to build up your stamina

also work on your upper body strength a bit

then work on jumping!.!.jump rope, go to the beach dig a hole in the sand and jump in and out!.

If you live near the beach its really good to run on the sand and work out on the sand because its so much harder than normalWww@Answer-Health@Com

You just have to work on a plan for exercising and maybe just get you a small set of weights you can get them any store you don't have to loose any weight just maybe build up your muscles a little, don't worry yourself with loosing weight :)Www@Answer-Health@Com

There was an ad on tv that said if you want to lose 20 pounds it will cost 20 dollars and you can still eat your favorite foods!.!.!. And for your volleyball workout try your best, practice all day, and challenge friends who are hard to beat!Www@Answer-Health@Com
