Question: What's the difference betweent the total carbs, in a product, and the "Net" carbs!?
I recently started eating protein bars to accompany my workout routine, and I want to keep it as low-carb as possible, and the carb control bars I eat say 20g total carbs, but only 4g Net carbs , and I'd like to know the difference!.Www@Answer-Health@Com


Answers:
Total carbs is the amount of chemical energy stored in the food!.
However, you don't get every bit of the energy in the food!. It takes some energy it initiate the digestion of the food!. The net calories are the total amount of energy YOU GAIN!.
