my sister is 8 & does not eat alot
she asks for something to eat then leaves it
she hasnt eaten a proper meal in about 8-10weeks
shes 5ft and weighs 4stones/56lb
my parents are concidering taking her to a E!.D place
all she does is drink until she's full so she doesnt have to eat!.

It is indeed possible for 8 year olds to be anorexic, however maybe she has developed a phobia of eating, afraid of swallowing, etc!.

It is very possible and growing increasingly popular for 6-10 year old girls to be anorexic!. Your parents should take her to see someone right away!. 56 pounds at 5 feet is much too unhealthy!. Make sure you remind her of how beautiful she is without having to starve herself!. I hope everything works out well!Www@Answer-Health@Com

i would say so her bmi is under weight at 10!.9 it is dangerously low but with her being only 8 it might b diff so go c an e!.d
