My arm muscles are growing uneven... What do i do to fix it?!


Question:

My arm muscles are growing uneven... What do i do to fix it?

I feel my right biceps are growing at a faster rate than my left ones. Do i lift heavier on the left or just keep working out and hope it evens out?


Answers:

If you are looking to even out their strengths start doing more dumbell movements as they will allow each arm to work independently and promote equal resistance per arm. Still incorporate barbells and machines if you like.

As for their shape, that is largely due to genetics. However, hand position plays a role on which head of the bicep is being worked most. Mix it up, use both close and shoulder width grips.

Some Bi movements: Hammer curls, preacher curls, incline dumbell, cable curls, alternating dumbell, and reverse curls.
