Question: How does a guy go about loseing 40 lbs in about 6 months!?

Well, I'm not a guy, but weight loss is weight loss right!? I recently lost 45 lbs!. through diet and exercise!. It has taken me 10 months!. I eat pretty much want I want I just eat smaller portions!. I do watch my fat and calorie intake!. Exercise is not my "cup of tea", but I have found that walking and swimming has helped!. I also run up and down my indoor staircase like a mad woman!. One of my friends has also lost 60 lbs!. in 8 months!. He is using the South Beach diet and zero sugar!. His exercise mainly consists of walking!. 40 lbs in 6 months is pretty drastic!. Set realistic goals for yourself so you don't get frustrated and give up on it!. Hope this helps some! interesting tonight!.
I don't know if it would apply
to you!.

A British study found that "not
enough sleep" adds to weight
gain!.

They found that "older" folks
who don't usually get the 8 hours
sleep [most get 6] that they tend
to eat more which adds pounds
to their body and increases their
chances of getting diabetes!.

Students who should get 9 hours
of sleep usually stay up late
partying or studying/cramming for
tests and end up sleeping less
hours and eat more and pack on
the pounds!.

Very interesting study!.
So!.!.!.in addition to the "watch what
you eat" and "excercise" suggestions,
make sure you get your required sleep!.

I know this happens to me!.
I have a job where sometimes I work
really, really long hours and when my energy
level is low!.!.!.I will eat just about anything
to try and increase my energy level
and stay awake!.

I'm doing the same thing!. I'm trying to lose 48 pounds asap!. I'm 5'10 228 lbs so that's y the 48!. Do a lot of cardio, some weights, and eat healthy!. Its about life style change Try not to give yourself to many benefits, i!.e a day or two where you can eat a little bit of junk food!.
