im thinking about doing track this year for school, i've never really been into sports but i need to be more in shape

Yeah go for it! Every morning, freshen up and just RUN around the house, or wherever, however many times you want!. That way you will be ready & used to running long lengths!. Start of by jogging!.!.!.and then pick it up week after week! Be prepared for some running!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You should start eating a balanced diet!. Drink lots of water every day to keep your body hydrated so you won't tire out fast!. Also start running!. Start out slow for short distances and increase your speed and length over a period of time (a few months) until you have a high stamina and can run at fast speeds for long periods of time!. Do this every day so your body is used to the energy and you will reduce the risk of bodily injuries from being unprepared!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
