SERIOUS WEIGHT QUESTION - 10points up for grabs!?!

Question: SERIOUS WEIGHT QUESTION - 10points up for grabs!!?
okay, so to start i am 14, 5'6 and 135lbs
as you can see i am a bit overweight and so i am pretty sure this is not anorexia
i am obsessed with my weight, and weigh myself 3-4 times a day
i also measure my waist and hips 2-3 times a day
i have no idea why but just feel i have to check to make sure i haven't gained weight
i cannot look in mirrors and cry when looking at pictures of myself a few months ago because i look so fat
i try not to eat in the mornings, and generally don't eat until 5 in the afternoon
i can only look at myself and feel sick, and i just feel like crying all the time when i look at myself
this is also encouraged by my friends who all weigh under 110lbs and are above 5'7
I DON'T THINK THIS IS ANOREXIA but i would like to know what it is
please can you give detailed answers and the longest will get 10 points!
thank you so much xxxWww@Answer-Health@Com

I am not sure what your exact question is but!.!.!.
In Uni I just finished a mental health class and based on Gray, Susan, and Marilyn Zide anorexia assessment criteria -
-Refusal to maintain weight at or above a minimallyu normal weight for age and height
-Despite being considerably underweight, continuing to be fearful of gaining weight or becoming fat
-Distorted perception of body wieght or body shape, or denial of the serious health consequences of their present low weight
In women who are post-menarche (period) status, an absence of at least three consecutive menstrual cycles (amenorrhea)!.

To me, even though I am not Phd!. I would say that you are leaning towards OCD (Obessive Compulsive Disorder)!. Which is cool - I have it toos, except I am worried about leaving my door unlocked, leaving my professional hair straighner plugged in and burning down my house- but all the same here is the definition of OCD and some other information!.

Ocbessive-compulsive disorder has two components: obessions and compulsions!.

Obessions - are defined as recurrent and persistent thoughts, impulses or images that at some point are experienced as intrusive and inappropriate causing aggressive actions against themselves or others - This could be for you thinking that you are over weight!.

Compulsions are defined as repetitive beahviors suchas constantly checking and rechecking doors to make sure they are locked!. Compulsions may also be mental acts that the person feels diven sto perform in response to an obsession or according to a rigit set of rules!. - meausuring, weighting, yourself more than once daily!.

DIAGNOSIS: MUST BE MADE BY A DOCTOR!!! I CANNOT ENCOURAGE THIS ENOUGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YOU DO NOT HAVE ANYTHING - ANOREXIA OR OCD OR ANYTHING WITHOUT HAVING A PROPER ASSESSMENT AND DIAGNOSIS!!!!!

Just a little bit of information regarding your weight and height!. You are perfectly healthy, young teenager!. It is time that the mass media stops putting images of skinny, lengthy women out there to make our young feel even more vunerable and fat!. You are the perfect weight - According to the BMI (Body Mass Index)!. BMI goes from points 19-45!. At 135 and 5'6 - you are at a BMI of 21!. You are in the NORMAL RANGE- 19-24!. Your friends who grosslyh skinny - are underweight - infact the score 19 for 5'7 indivduals is 121!.!.!. and they are way under that weight!.

The guys all love them, and everyone wants to be their friends!. I think you should start talking to someone about this because it could turn into an eating disorder!.
