Answers:
Without food, your body will eventually begin to eat away the muscle!.
So if you continue what you're doing, even if you do exercise, you'll lose the muscle you've gained and as well, you'll be too fatigued to do more exercise because your body is not getting enough energy!.
(Just think of calories as energy!. You should always get the right kind of energy from fresh foods, breads, and proteins not candy bars of course!.)
And yes, the muscle does feel harder then fat!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It is impossible to build muscle without proper eating (that is eating enough food) Depriving your body of proper nutrition only further removes muscle from your body (that being your muscles have more nutrients than fat and are more likely to be digested)
If you have an eating disorder I would highly doubt you would be buidling much muscle, I would suggest making that your first priority before building muscle!.
And yes, when you flex usually muscles is the hard fiberous thing you feel tighten up!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
