How can I lose weight?

Help I am getting married next year and need to drop some weight!! I have vegetables and most fruit and dont know what to do!! I cant physically eat most veg!! Can handle carrots and broccoli but thats about!!!

I can tell you what I do, Charlotte. First of all, I'm on a calorie restricted diet by choice and take supplements to help. The largest meal of my day is breakfast which is Macaroni and Cheese with ground turkey. The sauce has no sugar and mixes quality protein with complex carbs to fuel my body throughout the day. Then I eat smaller, healthy meals throughout the day followed by a light dinner. That way, there is less to burn while I sleep. I also work out three times a week so I am building muscle which kick starts my metabolism. In fact, while repairing muscle in my sleep, I'm also burning fat. But since muscle is seven times denser than fat, I don't even look at the scale anymore, but I hover around 155 pounds and 5'9".

The key to losing weight is a very simple formula - burn more calories than you consume. But by all means, don't starve yourself. That just puts the body in survival mode and has the body store fat to survive.
