What is the advised guideline daily amount of carbohydrate for a moderately acti!

Question:

What is the advised guideline daily amount of carbohydrate for a moderately active adult female...?

I notice that the GDA for calories, fat, and sugar tend to be shown on UK labels but not the GDA for overall carbs (that is starches and sugars).

guidelines aren't always that accurate, so i thought i'd show you what your specific needs were.

it doesn't matter who you are, everybody needs to have between 45-65% of carbs in their daily caloric intake.

your personal BMR is 2040 calories per day. this is what your body needs per day to maintain it's current weight.

now carbs to calorie ratio is 1:4
therefore for one gram of carbs there is 4 calories
45% of 2040 is 918cals. to get to grams 918/4= 230.
for the highest end 65% your needs would be = 330

so, your daily amount is between 230 and 330. generally you try and hit the middle of that, so your amount would be arougn 280 grams per day.

i hope this helped. anymore questions don't hesitate to ask.
