Americans eat too much!. We all know this!. On average, people only lose a few pounds a year on even the most popular diets and spend billions on various programs!. So when you go back to eating normal again, your old eating habits will go back to the way they were and you will gain it back!. The key to losing weight and keeping it off is eating healthier in general!. Some of these diets are so contradicting!. They're trying to convince you that you can weigh less and maintain it while eating the same fattening foods everyday!. You have to start eating whole foods again like fruits, vegetables, lean meats, things that humans are supposed to be eating!. Also, not eating enough causes your metabolism to slow down, so once you start eating more again, you will gain the weight back!. If you start to diet the right way, you can lose just as much weight AND keep it off!. Actually, you could lose more weight than that average weight loss in that report!. All you have to do is to start learning how to count your calories and start exercising!. The minimum amount a woman should eat is 1200 calories!. There are plenty of websites out there that can tell you how many calories you burn in a day!. If you want to lose weight, you have to eat less than what you burn!.
