jennybea,
I would think 1-2 glasses of wine per day wouldn't hurt anything, or make you gain weight!. As a matter of fact, look at how long the Italian's live! It seems like they all live really long lives, and it's because they were taught to drink wine at very young ages with every meal, is what I was told by an Italian boy once!. Also wine is so good for your heart, and the blood stream, is what I've heard all of my life!. In moderation of course! Everything in moderation, is always good!. I heard the more color in your wine the better it is for you! Especially if you get wine's from the real grapes!.!.!.!.This should also apply for the white wines, so long as their from the real grapes!. But, the colored wines are much healthier for you/us, I should say!. I hardly doubt that any types of grapes have any types of difference in weight levels!. If so, it can't be much of a difference!. You would think anyway!. However, I say keep it up so long as you dont go over board with it, and it's really only for meals or like for relaxing during the evening hours, and the like, you know!. This does not make you an alcoholic because you drink wine every day!. People always like to labelize everything in this life, and some would even say you could easily fall in the catagory of an alcoholic, but I say "NOT"!! Don't listen to them! Wine in moderation goes all the way back to biblical days, so you aren't even in the catagory of an alcoholic whatsoever, just to let you know in case anyone says something on here about that, I would just blow them off!.!! As not educated as to the difference between a "Social drinker" and what a "Real Alcoholic is!!" However, I wouldn't give it to much thought as to whether or not it makes you gain weight or not because if anything its most likely helping your cardiovascular system to keep any extra pounds off, I would think!. That's how healthy a couple of glasses are for you! So I've been told anyway!. So Happy Social Drinking to you~! Smile!!!Www@Answer-Health@Com

I heard that wine makes you put on weight!. Someone on TV said that if you are on a diet and drinking wine then you are wasting your time being on a diet!? Someone suggested its better if you have a wine spritzer (wine with tonic water) as it waters down the wine!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yes, alcohol is full of sugar, so I can only assume is isn't great for you!. If you're that worried about it, just limit the intake to 1 glass at dinner!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

it has a high glycemic effect!. means sugar in your blood!. try eating as earlier as possible and enjoy our wine, if your really worried, end the night with a nice jog or swim!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I think the wine might actually help you lose weight!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
