Question: How do I lose 40 pounds by September 13th!?
I'm the maid of honor in my sisters wedding and have been dieting with Weight Watchers for 6 weeks now!. I've lost 8 pounds!. I will admit I hate counting points and have "cheated" quite a bit!. I have a membership at Curves and go 2 to 3 times a week!.

I have considered, slim fast, special K diet, fat loss 4 idiots online diet ect!. ect!.

I guess I'm at the point where I'm tired of thinking about it constantly! I have a husband and 5 kids, so obviously have to cook a lot!. Need something I can stick to!. Any dieters out there have sucess in a short time and keep off their weight!? Any advise is appriciated!. I've been online forever researching diet after diet!. So frustrating!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Sai already gave a lot of good pointers - I'll just add the things that worked for me when losing weight after the birth of my first baby!. (I lost about 35 pounds in 3 months and got down to an Aussie size 8, approximately an American size 4-6, and haven't put any back on in a year!.)

- Cook dinner with as many veggies as you can!. I liked easy, long slow casseroles using low fat meats, tasty sauces based on tomatoes or spices, and lots of veg!. Very satisfying!.

- Use wholegrain wherever you can! (Brown rice, wholemeal pasta, wholemeal bread, porridge made from rolled oats and skim milk) They keep you feeling fuller for longer, and you are less likely to have a 'sugar crash' at around 3pm!.

- Exercise! As much as you can, including bopping around the house to music as you do housework - the more you can move, the better! And find things you enjoy - I liked aqua aerobics, and other fitness classes with good, dancy music as they made me feel very motivated!.
- Exercise with the kids, if you can!.

- **Don't** go on the Atkins diet or anything similar!. Those do tend to give good results, but they are very hard to stick to, as your body needs and craves carbs!. It's also not all that healthy!. Instead, try to replace highly processed food such as white bread and packaged sweet treats with wholemeal bread, low fat & sugar cereal bars, yoghurts, fruit!.

- Keep looking at people on the street you'd love to look like, for motivation!. Especially if a 'naughty' food craving is trying to get you to give in!.

1!. dont bank on the words 'fast','easy','simple' & 'quick'!.!.!.!.to stay safe,you shoudnt lose beyond 3 pounds of fat per week

2!. start brisk walking 40-60mins a day!.!.!.get a dog or 2 if you find your walking routine boring!.!.or if you are at a gym,experiment all forms of
cardio available and stick to all that you like

3!. drink only water,100% natural/fresh fruit/veggie juices,lowfat milk and lots of green tea

4!. severely limit carbs n fat but eat lean proteins and veggies very well!.!.make sure you eat a good breakfast!foods generally that aid fat loss-
fruits,oatmeal,milk,raw nuts,fish,beans,veggies, small chunks of dark chocolate and herbal teas!.

5!. do adequate amounts of pilates/yoga/strength training to get the best from your cardio,make slight adjustments to your workout routines
every 2 or 3 weeks to avoid plateaus

6!. be smart when eating out or at events/functions(such as preparing your own meal & eating in advance)

7!. dont trust myths like "no food after 7pm"!.!.!.you have to stay nourished to lose fat,!.!.the best you can do if you are scared to eat is perhaps
