Flexibility vs strength?!


Question:

Flexibility vs strength?

my friends and i play basketball, i realized that they had more suppleness than me cuz when we are stretching up b4 a game, they can bend their knee and make the back part of the feet to touch the gluteus and they can bend their ankle like a ballet dancer. but i cant, i dont have their type of flexibility so i have a few qs:
1. is it true that a more flexible means that u can bcome taller?
2. how can i improve my flexibility?

Answers:

The only exercise known to increase height is Pilates. However, what it does is regain height that you have lost due to compression. If you are in your 30s, likely you can get some height back, but if you are in your early 20s, that's about as tall as you are getting.

Flexibility can be improved by daily stretching exercise in the areas you are trying to improve and 4 oz. fresh squeezed lemon juice, no sugar, daily (this from a circus performer in his 60s).
