i want to loose weight real bad to boost self-esteem i cant do weight watchers or go to the gym so thats out of the question its really HOT where i live 110 on a almost normal day so that makes bike riding and that kind of stuff and even dieting has restrictions on it for me !!!!!!! help plz

Im your age and used to be like 114. Not much, but I was pretty tubby for a few years. I did Track at my local school, and after a few weeks of running I was seeing a whole lot of results. I completely flattened my stomach, hollowed out most of my abdomen and chest, plus got some bicep muscles. After that, I returned in the fall for Cross country. I don't know about you, I'm not sure if your into running, especially if it's really hot, but it really is the best local sport to do and you'll lost weight fast. So you have to beat the heat, trust me. Don't bother with stuff like baseball/basketball because you won't get results as quick, and that's what your after, right? Plus, track doesn't require as many skills as ball games. Apart from weekly excercise, you need to really make an effort in your diet. my advice is to slice out any foods that have over 150 calories or over 9 grams of fat. When you see a good food at the supermarket, and it has a lot of calories and fat, try to find an alternitave that is just as good but has less bad stuff. Try to avoid microwavable meats/wings and settle for other meals. Talk to your parents, teachers, and even people here on Y!A about diets and what kinds of food you should eat. I'm not saying you have to fast for 5 days and eat nothing but broiled mushrooms, but you just have to be smart. Have an apple with skin before going to bed each night. Basicly, don't starve yourself and skip breakfast, because you'll get very hungry later and end up over-eating at lunch



Above all, the one thing you need most is confidence in yourself and paitience. Don't quit track after the second week, or you'll end up like a loser at my school who quit it. You need to imagine yourself well toned and muscular, you have to smile about it, wipe the sweat off your brow, and keep going. Trust me, dude. Good luck to you. :)
