400 Calorie diet?!


Question: 400 Calorie diet!?
I'm going to the beach in 8 days and I need to lose as close to 5 pounds as I can by then!. If I go on a 400 calorie diet until I get back from the beach, will I lose 5 pounds!?

It'll be a slim-fast for breakfast, 1 cup of cheerios for lunch, and an apple and 10 grapes for dinner!.

Please don't lecture me!. I already know I'll gain it back and it's not healthy and all that!. I just want to know how much I'll lose for the beach!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yeah, I'd say you could definitely lose 5 pounds by then!. It depends on your starting weight and height, though, so I can't tell you for sure; but if you burn around, say, 1900 calories a day with your metabolism, and you eat only 400, that's a 1500 calorie deficit every day!. If you exercise, you can get it up to a 2000 calorie deficit (not healthy, by the way!) and you'll lose 5 pounds in almost exactly 8 days!.

Just so you know, if you do a "reasonable diet" like Weight Watchers, it is very common to lose 5-8 lbs the first week!. When i did it, i lost 6 lbs the first week and 5 lbs the next week!. After that you start to lose 1-3 lbs/week!.

You'd be better off with something like that because you'd still be able to eat with your friends at the beach and you'd have more energy!.

The problem with 400 calories is that you will probably get really hungry and binge or you'll feel really weak for your trip to the beach and won't have much fun anyway!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

400 calories a day is no where near the amount you need to be healthy!. The result is that in 8 days (actually sooner) you will feel so fatigued and run down that you aren't even going to enjoy yourself!. I would reccomend buying OROVO 7DFB!. It is a fat burner that is supposed to make you loose 7 pounds in 7 days!. They are available online and through some fitness stores!. I used it and defintely lost 5 pounds!. However, if you are not careful, you will gain the weight right back!. but this sounds like a case in which you just want a quick fixWww@Answer-Health@Com

A friend of mine went on the Grey Diet and I was actually thinking of doing it with her!.!.!.!.UNTIL she told me I couldn't have carbs for a month!.!.!.!.I walked away HAHAHA!.!.!.!.any diet that tells me I have to cut something out is so stupid!.!.!.although too much carbs are bad, I wouldn't cut em out for nothing!. your body will burn more calories if it's running properly!. that means you need more essential vitamins than you're going to get in your 400 calorie plan!. plus, after a couple of days, aren't you going to be disgusted with those few items and binge!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

You wont do it!. By the time you get to the beach, you'll feel so unwell and look so poor that you'll feel like crap!.

I'd say instead of an apple, eat an orange!. The citric acid in the orange will burn some fat!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Since most of the weight will be water and not fat, try working out really hard and reducing your liquid intake!. It isn't healthy but you'll probably lose 5 pounds if you keep at itWww@Answer-Health@Com
